Who's who in East Tisted.

We are governed by a Parish Council which meets quarterly.  It is made up of a cross-section of the community. At the last census we had 175 folk living in the Civil Parish aged over 16 and up to 75. It seems the population has stayed level at about 220 including everyone for some time.

Sir James Scott BT is the current chairman of the PC. His family bought Rotherfield Park in 1802.

Our Vicar is Tony Pears who runs the Northanger Benefice of which we are one of 11 Churches.

The Scott family have lived at Rotherfield Park for over 200 years, the current head of family is Sir James Scott (the third Baronet).

The Neighbourhood Watch co-ordinator is Larry Johnson.

We have an active Sports and Social Club, a fast rising Cricket Club (Rotherfield Park), a Post Office and Store, Bed and Breakfast, Farm Shop and plenty of activities, such as Keep Fit on Monday Evenings (18.45 in the Village Hall).

For many institutions we are joined with Colemore Civil Parish which lies to the South.
